THE SKATALITES live @ Main Stage 2009

At first it all started off as a simple imitation of American rhythm & blues but then, in the early Sixties, the joyous sound of ska began an evolution that has led Jamaican music to where it is today. The Skatalites return to Rototom Sunsplash to reclaim their role as founding fathers of reggae music and to illustrate to the younger generations where our favourite music comes from. But even more important is the fact that the Skatalites are always great fun on stage and we are sure that they will put on a great show this summer at Rototom Sunsplash.
