Like how it predicted Donald Trump’s presidency, ‘The Simpsons’ predicted how Walt Disney Co. recently acquired 21st Century Fox’s recent assets in an episode called, “When You Dish Upon a Star,” in 1998. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the episode “[revolves] around Homer befriend Alec Baldwin and his then-wife Kim Basinger. He begins to work as their assistant but then spills their personal gossip to others.
