The Silent Sword - Lone Warrior

Light ebbs away as darkness crawls.
The creeping black flow
Consumes them all.
Eating away at
Souls.

The Lone Warrior
Stands frightened and cold.
The Darkness begins to
Grip him,
Its ink slowly soaking his body
From all around.

Slowly
Making its way to his core,
Blackening blue veins,
Darkening
His heart.

The Darkness consumes him,
And he falls to his knees.
His sacred blade
Cannot strike down this foe.

Where will he find strength?

Light roars from his soul,
Shattering the Darkness.
Inside his being shined a
Nameless power.

A power he wields
For the darkest hour.

She cries out as the
Darkness consumes,
And he walks to her aid,
So his light may bloom.
