The Silent Sword - Fallen

The sun bakes me
Under its blaze.
I cannot escape
Its scorching gaze.

The winds blow
The stinging sand.
It blows it to my
Green, lush land.

Blanketing me in
A freezing frost,
The blizzard has
Me cold and lost.

Violently, the
Earth quakes.
Violently, my
Hands shake.

Lightning blasts
Everything apart.
Striking me, my
Soul and heart.

Rain pours down,
Causing a flood.
It washes away
My life and blood.

Wounded and dying,
I gasp for breath.
Lonely and weak,
I wait for death.

There I stand
Calling, calling.
There I am
Falling, falling.
