The Rollickers - Ready For The River
Description
Since some interest has been shown in this totally forgotten and sadly overlooked vocal group, mainly recording for Edison, I decided to share one of there exquisite recordings. It is a mystery to me why they got into almost complete oblivion since they are up there with the extremely famous Revelers and Comedian Harmonists. This superb record was made in 1928. I apologize for the poor photographs shown in the video but I neverteless did, taking into account that the visual material featuring them being very scarce.
