Ray, un ancien taulard, tente de se réinsérer en travaillant comme videur dans une boîte de strip-tease. Un soir, le fils du propriétaire du club se fait abattre sous ses yeux. Compte tenu de son passé judiciaire, Ray est très vite soupçonné d'être le complice du crime. Pour prouver son innocence, il décide alors de retrouver le véritable criminel et de faire justice lui-même. Une impitoyable course contre la montre s'engage alors entre lui, les flics et le mystérieux meurtrier...
