As i look up into the darkening night,
I know that things will never be right,
But, my dear, I will always be true,
And keep the promise I gave you.

Never feel fear,
For I will always be near,
I will never be allowed to stop loving you,
Untill i am dead,
And as they rest my lifeless head,
I will be looking down at you,
From a place above the clouds.
