Reversing the trend of past decades, Americans are moving from the suburbs to be closer to the cities, given lower crime rates, better schools, and a desire to be less dependent on cars. In 2011 for the first time in 100 years, urban population growth outpaced its suburban counterpart. But this is not without its problems.
