The Predator (also known as Predator 4) is an American science fiction action horror film directed by Shane Black and written by Black and Fred Dekker. It is the fourth installment in the Predator film series, set to take place between Predator 2 (1990) and Predators (2010). Black had a supporting role in the original 1987 Predator film, while Joel Silver, John Davis, and Lawrence Gordon all return as producers from the first two installments.
