Steve Ferguson ordered his co-conspirators of the Piarco Airport scheme to destroy all documents that could be traced to the kickbacks that he received for the airport expansion project.

His attorney Stephen Binhak contended in his closing arguments of the civil case in Miami, in March this year, that Ferguson was the target of a political hit job.
