Hailing from Hawke's bay the Phil Edwards band has a distinctive summer feel to their soulful songs which range from warm acoustic ballads reminiscent of Jack Johnson through to blues numbers with a John Mayer / Ben Harper feel.
The unique honesty and feeling captivated in Phils lyrics separates the band from others in the genre with a prominent theme of love and good times. The songs naturally have a strong commercial appeal with catchy sing along melodies allowing for a wide target audience.
To celebrate the release of the album, the Phil Edwards Band are splashing out on a big tour in March and April.
