1983. The Pacific Northwest is getting robbed, again and again, with escalating violence that feels less like “crime spree” and more like a rehearsal for something worse. Banks get hit. Money is forged. Armored cash trucks don’t stand a chance. And then it goes from “random bad guys” to “someone picked these targets on purpose.” A synagogue and a porn theater are blown up in ways that line up a little too neatly.

The local cops need answers. The FBI sends Terry Husk, a seasoned investigator with a history of tracking organized monsters. He teams up with Detective Jamie Bowen and his FBI colleague Joanne Carney, and together they start noticing a disturbing pattern behind the chaos.

Husk reads a book the FBI calls the “bible of the racist right.” It’s the Turner Diaries, and it lays out a staged plan for the fall of the U.S. and a follow-up race war. Once that clicks, the question stops being who did it and becomes: who fed them the script?

Dann knallt es auch noch zweimal ganz gezielt. Eine Synagoge und ein Pornokino werden nach demselben Muster gesprengt. Die Polizei tappt im Kreis, bis der FBI-Agent Terry Husk in die Kleinstadt kommt, mitten in den Cascades bei Washington. Husk hat Erfahrung mit Mafiosi und Clan-Typen und merkt schnell: Das wirkt nicht wie normales Verbrechen, sondern wie Ideologie mit Sprengstoff.

Der Knackpunkt ist ein Buch, das beim FBI als „Bibel der rassistischen Rechten“ gilt. Als Husk die „Turner Diaries“ liest, sieht er plötzlich Verbindungen zwischen den Taten und einem Plan in Phasen. Jetzt muss Detective Jamie Bowen und seine FBI-Kollegin Joanne Carney herausfinden, ob da wirklich jemand mit Texten indoktriniert und politisch gesteuert hat.
