Davide Combusti, in arte The Niro, sviluppa sin dall’inizio il proprio percorso musicale attraverso una grande attività live.
Nel corso della sua carriera The Niro ha suonato in diversi festival nazionali(Sanremo 2014, MEI 2008, Concerto del Primo Maggio a Roma)e internazionali (HIT Week Festival, SXSE) potendo dividere il palco con artisti di fama come Deep Purple, Badly Drawn Boy, Carmen Consoli, Zephyrs, Sondre Lerche, TKO, Jønsi, Kings of Convenience, Subsonica, Franco Battiato, Badly Drawn Boy, Mirah, Gabriella Cilmi, Isobel Campbell e Chris Leo.

Nel 2008 pubblica l'album di debutto omonimo, “The Niro”.
Nel 2012 esce un nuovo disco, stavolta cantato totalmente in italiano: “The Ship”.
Davide nel frattempo fa il suo esordio come autore firmando “Medusa” per Malika Ayane e “Sogno d’estate” per Nathalie.
Parallelamente alla sua carriera solista inizia una serie collaborazioni all’interno del mondo cinematografico italiano(“Disoccupato in affitto” e “Mr. America” )e internazionale ("Caserta Palace Dream" di Mc Tigue e un documentario su Roma trasmesso dalla CNN)
“1969” è il titolo dell’ ultimo album,uscito nel 2014, ma anche del brano che ha interpretato e che lo ha visto protagonista, sul palco dell’Ariston, nella categoria Nuove Proposte al 64mo Festival di Sanremo.

The Niro is Davide Combusti from Rome,Italy.
During all his career he shared stages all over the world with several important national and international artists as Deep Purple, Lou Barlow, Badly Drawn Boy,Sondre Lerche, Isobel Campbell, Sondre Lerche, TKO, Jønsi, Kings of Convenience, Subsonica, Franco Battiato, Badly Drawn Boy, Mirah, Gabriella Cilmi and Chris Leo.

In 2008 Davide released his first record, called ‘The Niro’ .
The first single from the album is ‘Liar’, used in the first Virgin Radio compilation release.
In 2012 “The Ship”, his second record, was released. In the meantime Davide started a collaboration with film industry,composing soundtracks for italian and international movies.
"1969" is the title of his new record, released on 2014 .
