The new 2018 Ford Transit Preview

Ford presented the new 2-tonne Transit - the most efficient and productive ever.

With increased load capacity and enhanced powertrains that optimize fuel efficiency up to 7%, the new Transit is also introduced in a mild hybrid (mHEV) version, the first technology application for the segment, which offers further improvement consumption of about 3% compared to the standard diesel model, and up to 8% in urban mileage.

The new Transit, today, is connected, like never before, and offers users the benefits of Ford PassConnect on-board modem technology that will help professionals improve their use and optimize management costs.

On sale in Europe since mid-2019, the new Transit is based on the success of the outgoing model, which has helped make the Transit badge a leader in its segment in Europe and North America. The positive trend in sales in Europe in 2018 reached 67,000 vehicles sold in the first eight months of the year, an increase of 14% over the previous year.
