In a time where Islam is stigmatised as a religion of violence and as a backward ideology with nothing to offer to the world, almost 2 billion people identify with the faith. Despite the controversy that Islam causes when it is translated through the language of yellow journalists and Islamophobes, Islam remains the fastest growing religion in the world.

Has one third of the world's population been proselytised? What is it about this faith that intrigues so many of its followers and attracts so many converts?
