The Library in the Clouds

The misty mountain village of Liangjiashan has an unusual building—a transparent library standing on stilts. You have to go up a winding road in the rural Chinese village to discover the modern structure, with its light pine frame and transparent walls holding shelves of books.

With the quiet stream running outside and the picturesque view, the house is pretty much the perfect hideaway for book lovers. We got an interview with the architect who designed the book house.
