The Knickerbockers - From Now On

This is one of the pseudonyms of Selvin's band. Originally a violinist, Ben Selvin probably made more records than any other bandleader from the late 1910's through the 1930's. After his recording career he remained active in record business as artistic director till the 1960's. This great record was made in 1929. The outstanding vocalist remained uncredited, but sounds like Smith Ballew.
