Jon Napier grew up in West Virginia and moved down to Texas in 1999. He met up with Colin McDonald and Scott Calhoun a few years ago and the tro have been performing together ever since.
Together, they showcase their original sound at Tantra Coffeehouse in San Marcos.
Their sound has been called low-key, melodic and lyrical. McDonald said they are inspired by "real stuff, stuff that's not made to sell, but stuff that's made to express."
