The Joker - The Window

Where once the sun had shown through
there is darkness
layered with years of dust
with none to care, that is how it stays,
until the pitch is wiped free
by endearing hands
than again the rays shine in,

With house lit,
the warm glow fills in,
and life pulses through
the feelings that cannot be forged
but then again,
that is love for you,
what miracles it works
