9 Views • Jan 03, 2019
Description
According to Mother Nature Network, the globe is getting serious about reducing the use of plastic. In 2002, Bangladesh became the first country to ban the use of thin plastic bags. Since then, other countries and cities have followed their lead, banning or taxing plastic bags. The European Union aims to have all packaging on the continent be reusable or recyclable by 2030. In the U.S. it has been difficult to ban plastic with some people claiming its a business’ right to use it.
