The Gladiators (1969)

In the near future there will be no need for standing armies. Instead, countries participate in The International Peace Games, a televised event with corporate sponsors. Here we see two armed groups and an individual anarchist fight for the prize that we are told is world peace. However, things are never as simple as they appear.
This film has a bleak, if accurate, view of humanity. We are violent, cling to ideology and easily give up our freedom for safety.
