The Future We Want

UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon recently urged Uzbekistan to stop using forced labor, including children, in cotton fields. The exploitation of children in one of the largest cotton industries in the world is still happening despite efforts to ban the practice. Likewise, millions of children are suffering in regions where there are no basic human rights, despite various organizations' attempts to protect them. Children issues need to be addressed by the global community since every child matters. Our panelists discuss how we should improve children's rights on this week's episode of NEWSTELLERS.
