The Evolution of Rihanna

Rihanna was born as Robyn Rihanna Fenty, on February 20, 1988, in Barbados. At the young age of 16, Rihanna signed with Def Jam records. Her first album 'Music of the Sun' came out in 2005, and it sold more than 2 Million copies worldwide. Later on, the iconic and legendary rapper Jay-Z was also mesmerized by the voice of Rihanna and signed her. Back in 2009, she suffered horrific injuries after an alleged assault by Chris Brown. Rihanna's injuries were out in the public, she had bite marks on her arms and her face was severely injured. Even though she experienced adversity, she remained strong and returned to the stage a few months later. Bold and fearless! She is never afraid to take risks. However, not everything has been a smooth sail for her, she has earned her 'bad girl' reputation for sure what with 'drugs' and 'naked pictures' on Instagram. She's more than a bad girl though, she's a top-selling make-up mogul, dancing queen, passionate about giving back and a style icon.
