Like the rest of the Echo Express expansion chassis range, the SE II contains dual Thunderbolt ports so you can daisy-chain the features of devices and features a surprisingly large, quiet, temperature-controlled fan to help keep cards cool for added comfort.

With a 10 gigabit per second Thunderbolt interface provided breakthrough bandwidth for external expansion, more than enough to support top performance from most PCIe cards, the Echo Express SE II chassis gives you top notch performance from even the most recent PCIe cards, providing optimal performance with your system. If you require more complex solutions, such as RME's HDSPe MADI FX card, Blackmagic Design's DeckLink 4K Extreme or the Lynx AES16e-50, that include a daughter card that works with and provides therefore more external connections to the main card. The SE II provides the space and bracket access for a daughter card so you don't have to give up a PCIe slot.
