THE DAY'S CATCH

Fishermen unload their catch from Manila Bay at the Noveleta Fish Port in Barangay San Rafael in Cavite on Tuesday, May 31, 2022. Ex-president Joseph Estrada issued Presidential Proclamation 261 declaring May 31 as National Fisherfolk Day. May was declared as the Farmers’ and Fisherfolk’s month under Presidential Proclamation 33 to honor the contribution of farmers and fisherfolk in the growth and development of the local agriculture sector.
