L'histoire :
The Dark Knight reprendra là où Batman Begins nous avait laissé. Effectivement Batman, avec l'aide du Lieutenant Jim Gordon (Gary Oldman) et du procureur Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart) poursuit sa quête contre le crime qui sévit à Gotham jusqu'au jour où un terrible criminel fait son apparition dans les rues: le Jocker (Heath Ledger). Semant le chaos à travers la ville, Batman / Bruce Wayne devra livrer un âpre combat pour stopper son ascension...
