The Austrian actor talks life post-Oscars
Description
ROUGHT CUT: NO REPORTER NARRATION
Since winning an Academy Award for his role as Colonel Hans Landa in the 2009 Quentin Tarantino movie 'Inglourious Basterds', Austrian-born actor Christoph Waltz has swiftly become the toast of Hollywood. He won another Oscar for his role in 'Django Unchained' as well as a Golden Globe, two BAFTAs, and even the Best Actor award at the Cannes film festival. Now, he's currently nominated for a Golden Globe for his role of Walter Keane in the Tim Burton biopic 'Big Eyes'. The film is about the 1950s painter Margaret Keane, whose images of children with big eyes became iconic at the time and were reproduced throughout North America. However, everyone thought that the paintings were the work of her husband, Walter, who claimed credit for her work. Margaret is played by Amy Adams, who is also nominated for a Golden Globe. 'Big Eyes' is director Tim Burton's first big screen adaptation of a true story since 1994's 'Ed Wood' which starred Johnny Depp.
