Description

It's a year and a half since Thailand's army seized control of the country in a coup. It ended weeks of street protests and unrest, but what was meant to be a transition period has dragged on, with promised elections postponed and still no date fixed. Meanwhile, controls on freedom of speech are starting to feed opposition. A plan to build a giant firewall that would help authorities gain wide control over Thailand’s domestic internet is proving particularly unpopular with young Thais.
