Thad Wilk - ~ She's Lost ~

She's lost and on a downward slope.
Falling fast, no safety rope. She is
twenty-one, but aged much more as
she walks down the hall and through
Hell's door
~
She must get high but she is sinking low
Into the quicksand of drugs, that won't
let go. A junkie that's a dealers prize.
So hooked she cannot realize, the
Devil's advocate in disguise
~
Now there she stands on the street once
more.Trying hard to make the perfect
score. One day she won't be coming back.
For the needles burn a one way track
~
(She's lost) , without the drugs she cannot
cope and with them she forsakes all hope.
She has to let the Lord step in. All she needs
is faith in Him. He'll stand beside her, through
thick or thin. The Lord won't let -
the Devil win...
