Thad Wilk - ~ Losing You, Finding Me ~

I stopped by some fields of pretty wild flowers, today.
To ponder for just a moment. I hadn't planned to stay.
~
These pretty flowers I find they remind me, so much
of you today. Now if I could only find myself. Perhaps
this chain of pain that still remains, will go away.
~
Our holding hands and making plans. They never did
come true. I was just a toy you cast away. When this
game of love you played, was throu'.
~
You vowed you'd always love me. That we'd never part.
Like a thief in the night. Your only plan, was to steal
my heart.
~
Now an empty space I carry. Where my heart once used
to dwell. It beat for only you my love. Till the day you
said, fair well.
~
Thou' you lied and tears i've cried. I'll find myself one day.
But it seems that day may never come until forever's thru'.
Perhaps then; that's only when, i'll be over you...
