This is the story of subramaniam (dhanush), an aimless and rebellious son of a garbage lorry driver. a reckless boy, subramaniam doesn't think twice before doing anything. kavya (sindhu tolani) is subramaniam's love interest, but she is scared of his short temper. once he manages to get soorie, a dangerous goon, arrested. soorie takes revenge by killing his father. the rest of the story tells how subramaniam avenges his father's death.
