Tex Williams is best known for his talking blues vocals; and western swing style. His biggest hit was the novelty song, "Smoke! Smoke! Smoke! (That Cigarette)", which held the number one position on the Billboard charts for six weeks in 1947.

Here Tex performs 'Deck of Cards' originally a hit by T. Texas Tyler in 1948, reaching #2 in the US country charts.

This performance was recorded live at Church Street Station in Orlando, Florida.
