Tessa Eichhorst - Ackward

I thought you told me no acwardness
please? I replied with an it's not even
in question. Here I thought at least
one of these times I'd still have a
friendship with someone afterward.
I guess what they sorta say sometimes
is true; a kiss can change everything.

Today was the first time I saw you,
and it was great, you smiled bright
as the sun, and said a very calm,
welcoming hey. Later when we
were almost having a conversation,
it seemed as though you were no longer
there. You drifted with this crazy wind
we're having.

I hoped this wouldn't feel ackward,
but why do you make it? We both
promised not to, and I thought for
sure the priceless friendship we had
before would pull through. True
we haven't known eachother for long,
but now I guess we're pretty close.

Maybe for you this is just another
phase in the moon and it'll soon
pass over. I'm just afraid this will
damage any future part we have
in each others lives. So I beg
of you this time erase this ackward
shield from your face, and reviele
the person my eyes first upon gazed.
