Tess is a musical project formed in the beginning of 2012.

Daniel Tessler (ex Efervecentes) decided to record an album so Tess emerged with some new members like Guilherme Curti, Dyego Gheller and Beto Stone.

The album was produced by Raul Albornoz and Vini Tonello. Besides of this first album, Tess already has an EP and a new album finished, produced by Edu K. The first album was released in March of 2013, and the new EP in July of 2015.

The band has a style from classic rock to the modern rock that emerged in 2000. Besides Beatles and the whole swinging mod scene from the 60’s, has as reference Supergrass, Oasis, Kasabian, Chemical Brothers, Tame Impala, The Goastt, Erasmo Carlos e Mutantes.

"It’s essential that exists an artistic truth. It needs to propose a challenge for who is listening to our songs. Tess doesn’t want to sound dated or follow the fashion, but rather, to challenge. We are not afraid of changing and, even doing it, continue making rock, always moving forward, without being like what has been done."

Some compositions from the first album were made featuring Carlinhos Carneiro (Bidê ou Balde) on “Estou Indo Embora”, Gabriel Azambuja (Cachorro Grande) on “Será Que Você Existe” and Rodolfo Krieger (Cachorro Grande) on “Eu Como Tu”.

The EP 'Multicolor Movietone' or the album 'Mais de Mil Palhaços no Salão' to be released, both produced by Edu K, have different concepts. The EP is a bridge between the first album and the new one, cause it starts to step into a more psychedelic ground, but still making the traditional rock. The album explores the electronic music, and different styles like Rap, Soul Music and, even so, it’s rock.
