Tess Lockey - Silly Me

I woke in the morning
One sunny, normal day
I looked out, the birds were singing
I thought if they're always that gay

I Yawned and sat up that morning
And realized I still have my school
So I checked the time and whispered 'Oh my.'
For i was late that morning

I hurried to class
after drinking a glass
of juice

But then as I came
I saw my classroom was empty
I panicked 'cause I thought
They've gone on a field trip without me

But then I sat down
and started to giggle
I giggled so hard
I fell on the ground, and thought that i am so silly

For going to school,
and scaring myself,
When today was not Friday,
but Saturday

So I just went home
I collapsed on the couch
and started to giggle again

I giggled so much
that before i could stop
I had to count ten times
one to Ten!
