Tesla Faces Lawsuit From Former Employees

Two former Tesla workers claimed the California’s electric car factory was filled with racial hostility. While the company tried to dismiss the claims, a federal judge rejected their effort to do so. According to Reuters, the plaintiffs said they were subjected to repeated racial epithets and racist cartoons. Furthermore, they said the supervisors engaged in racism or did little to stop it. The judge said punitive damages might be available if Tesla knew about the harassment and “ratified” it.
