Terrorists kill another sarpanch in J&K

Unidentified terrorists killed a 'sarpanch' (democratically elected village head) in Sopore district of the valley on Friday afternoon. According to police, unknown militants fired upon sarpanch, Habibullah Mir, resident of Gooripora Bomie, Sopore in the compound of his house. In a critical condition, Mir was shifted to sub-district hospital Sopore where he succumbed to his injuries. The body of the deceased was handed over to his relatives for last rites. Police has registered a case.
