En route pour un WE romantique, Don et Nancy sont victimes d'un accident sur une route perdue. Ils sont alors contraints de passer la nuit dans un sinistre motel environnant, tenu par un chef de gang à la tête d'un groupe de tueurs. Son but : filmer la mise à mort de touristes égarés dans un snuff-movie d'une cruauté insoutenable. Lorsque Don et Nancy réalisent où ils se trouvent, leur vie ne leur appartient déjà plus. Ils vont devoir se battre pour survivre et échapper à ce piège parfait.
