Metamorphosis
The years may take its toll as we grow old
and grey, however we are at enmity in
staying forever young.

The illusion of youthful exuberance can be
enhanced, with makeup and surgery, if one’s
life savings allows the chance to
romance vanity.

There comes a time when a malady visits
ones bodily house, and rings a bell
impossible to sequester the resounding
toll of immobility.

When the bell tolls éclat, one desires the
ephemeral, and one wishes to remain the same.
The choice is ours in which to choose;
prompting the dilemma in which we must
have resolve or remain the same.

Working through the pain, when one desires
the ephemeral, a lifelong commitment for a
metamorphosis is to put off the inevitable,
we try our best to put our bodies to the test.
