Termites just love landscape rocks? Who knew?!

Of course, we all know that termites actually have a massive hankering for cellulose - which they get from the wood in and around our precious homes.

This happy bunch of termites will find my landscape rocks much harder to swallow, but a termite infestation is definitely no laughing matter - the humble and pretty much 'silent destroyer' is just about the most devastating pest if you get a serious infestation.

So if you see a swarm like this, it's time to worry. And even if you don't, it still might be time for a thorough inspection. You can do your bit by carefully storing your wood and removing dead trees, and if necessary let the experts install a physical or chemical barrier.
