Terminator Trailer Talk! - CineFix Now

So, a new trailer for Terminator: Genisys hit the Internets this morning, and it revealed [SPOILERS IF YOU DON'T WATCH TRAILERS]. Which prompted so much discussion, we had to put it on camera!

Okay, so it seems that in this entry in the Terminator Franchise will feature John Connor as a Terminator. Or Terminator-enhanced. This seems like quite the twist to reveal in a trailer, but it makes us wonder what other surprises might be in store, including:

What's going on with the timeline now? (So much for our comprehensive Terminator timeline, grumble, grumble...)

Also who or what the heck is Matt Smith going to be? And did the gamble of revealing a big twist in the trailer succeed at getting people more interested in watching the movie?
