shepherds delight
red sky in morning
a mothers warning
protect and guide
and let harm subside
dry their tears
conquer their fears
keep them from harm
cause no alarm
the love they give
they always forgive
your life on the line
each and every time
the road they choose
will give many a bruise
be there to protect
as their mother elect
