The newest i-gadgets can they tell us
Spy on hearts and read our mood
Leaving me nostalgic for wind up wristwatch
Which can't show love or fear or loss
Or worse still ambiguity that happy sad
Mixture which can stay safely hid
In a world where timepieces simply tell time
But not the tick tock of our hearts at last on show
The opportunities for trouble multiply too much
What time is it, oh it's five past longing
or 10 Minutes to love.
