One time I lied,
I hurt everybody.
I tried fixing things,
But things became more messy.
As more messy things became,
I started to feel uneasy.

I wondered if someone would forgive me,
But still I knew in time they would.
I thought if people would not forget,
I would have cried.
But this is all because of,
The one time I lied.
