Tensions Escalate Between Israel and Palestine

Tensions are building between Israel and Palestine in both the Gaza Strip and the Occupied Territories. Tel Aviv launched new airstrikes against the Gaza Strip and barred many Palestinian worshipers from entering the Al-Aqsa mosque in occupied East Jerusalem. In a spiral of violence, Israeli forces killed several Palestinian youth accused of stabbing Zionist settlers, attacks that were supported by Islamic Jihad, Hamas and other Palestinian factions as legitimate acts of resistance.
