Guillermo Garcia Cantinca from Quintana Roo, Mexico, captured the scene showing the two colobus monkeys edging closer while the chimps react and quickly chase them off.
The showdown was filmed in Kyambura Gorge Queen Elizabeth National Park in Uganda.
