Tender called for 9,000 new fireproof suits
Description
Housing and Local Government Minister Zuraida Kamaruddin said 9,000 new fireproof suits will be provided to the Fire and Rescue Department.
The suits will cost about RM2,000 each and will benefit some 14,000 firemen.
She said this after launching a fire prevention safety campaign at the Ampang Jajar flats in Mak Mandin, Butterworth on Saturday.
