TEMPORARY ACCESS RESTORED

Temporary limited access has been restored to residents living around the Piparo Mud Volcano.
A heightened state of activity at the volcano site began on Christmas Eve, causing significant damage to two main access routes, one of which became impassable.
While residents called for a more comprehensive fix, the Minister of Works explained why it can’t be done just yet.
