Tempe Sambal Tempe Sambal is a chili sauce that can be used as a side dish and accompanied directly with warm rice. The method for making it is similar to making penyet tempeh which is continuously ground. This food has a spicy, savory and delicious taste with a rough texture of crushed tempeh but remains soft when eaten.
