TEMA AND JAMAICA RELIEF
Description
In the aftermath of Hurricane Melissa, Ms Me-laura Ag-beko, Assistant Director and Operations Chief at the Tobago Emergency Management Agency (TEMA), has been deployed to assist Jamaica's disaster-response efforts.
Her deployment will span one (1) week, after which additional TEMA personnel will be rotated to ensure continued support until operations stabilise and recovery is well underway. This was confirmed by Tema director Allan Stewart. More in this Elizabeth Williams report.
